As 2025 draws to a close, I reflect with pride on Empiras Global’s remarkable achievements in just a few short years. I am grateful to our partners and supporters who have joined us in empowering young African students for global success. Our journey has been defined by a bold vision, rapid expansion, and transformative partnerships. It is my privilege to share the meaningful milestones we have reached together.

Expanding Access to Education

In an effort to make world-class education more accessible, we successfully launched our online IGCSE and A-Levels courses. We enrolled learners from across the country, reaching as far as Zambia. This digital initiative is a cornerstone of our mission to provide flexible, high-quality alternative education pathways.

Record Number of University Placements

We are proud to have placed a record number of African students at leading universities abroad. These institutions include those in the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, and Japan. This achievement reflects our commitment to opening doors for African talent.

Commitment to Excellence

Our unwavering commitment to excellence this year was underscored by our selection for—and successful completion of—the prestigious Stanford Seed programme. This achievement has sharpened our strategic vision and strengthened our ability to achieve sustainable growth.

New Partnerships for Broader Opportunities

We formalised new university partnerships in France, Germany, Georgia, and Ireland. These collaborations further solidify our global network and broaden opportunities for African talent.

Leadership in Technology and Education

As a leader at the intersection of technology and education, I was privileged to represent Empiras at various regional and national conferences. I also engaged with global innovators at events like GITEX Paris and the Africa Tech Festival.

AfriHack Connect 2025: Fostering Innovation

Our flagship initiative, AfriHack Connect 2025, exemplified our commitment to fostering innovation and tech skills development among university students nationwide. The success of outstanding teams from CAPACITI, WeThinkCode, and the University of Johannesburg showcased the incredible talent in South Africa. This talent will undoubtedly flourish with the support of initiatives like AfriHack.
